1st Month In

Hi Shopless viewers,
Many many apologies people. We just realized that we had actually created a blog (and we never updated it!!)
Nahh we actually know we have a blog, it’s just that it has been a very hectic first month since we launched and we would like to thank all of your supports so far and we hope you will continue to patronize us J Do share our website with your friends/colleagues/mums and dads/brother/sisters/uncles/aunties/cousins and whoever you think will like the products that we carry. And do ‘Like’ our Facebook account as we will send updates more regularly via Facebook.
A few things first: we will be closed from 1st March to 13th March 2011 so do try to submit your orders before then, otherwise they will only be processed 14th March onwards. During this ‘close’ period, you can still continue to submit your orders to us. Secondly, we will be terminating our locker rentals at both Toy Outpost locations (Jurong Point end of Feb and Vivo mid of March) so please purchase directly from the website if possible (we actually charge cheaper online!).
Enough announcements, now comes to the real blog :D. As you probably have heard many many times before, “don’t sell products which you won’t use”. We believe strongly in that statement and we would like to share some pictures of the products we are selling being used in our home!!!Tthese are only some of the items we use as we just did a quick photo-taking before going out for lunch today.
Item #1: J-me’s Float Magazine Rack (Link)
We placed it in between our 2 and 3-seater sofas. It’s just sooooooo cool!!!! It can fit up to 12 magazines and as you can see, ours are filled up! The chrome steel used is so thick that the magazine rack stays darn solid when we hung 10 magazines.

Item #2: J-me’s Remote Tidy (Link)
This is another item we loved so much. It just makes our coffee table that much neater. We only have 3 remotes (1 for TV, 1 for DVD player and 1 for cable TV) – so 1 spot is empty. The material used is so thick and firm that it does not wiggle or topple if you have only 2 remotes. What a great addition to our living room.

Item #3: MB Design's Booxstore (Link)

We don’t have a lot of colourful books to fill up our floor-to-ceiling bookcase so we used the booxstore to help fill the gap (and make us look smart). We store all of our small items(such as cables, spare pens/pencils , travel plugs, travel maps, and etc.

Item#4: Trash. Know Trash Can (Link)
This is really a walk-stopper (meaning people that walk past it and glanced at it, they will stop and ask what is this. We get that numerous times). Since our master has a dark brown/beige tone, we used the brown Trash.Know and placed it below our TV. For once, a trash can that doesn’t disturb our sight as it just adds that missing element in our room (Plus the functionalities & flexibility).

We will take more pictures an share them with all of you next time. To us, we believe that these small things that we have are what makes a home different and we would like to share them with all of you who are looking to perfect your home. Do continue to support us and see you at our next write-up J
Any feedbacks/comments, please direct them to info@shopless.com.sg. Many thanks!

Introduction by us: Welcome!

Welcome to Shopless.com.sg THE BLOG! Before we start, we seek your help to please spread the word of our existence to your friends, family members or anybody that you know may be interested in our products! That way, we can keep growing to provide you with more.
Our online store (http://www.shopless.com.sg/) should be up in a few weeks time but we already have our first items in. We will do a review of the products which we feel needs a demonstration to understand its full potential when you are using it on this blog so keep a lookout. But bear with us as we are currently busy preparing for the online store, the reviews will come at a slower pace.
Or if you are keen to purchase our products wholesale (in higher quantity), please feel fee to drop us a note and we can discuss how you can purchase them at a lower price. So be it if you are an existing business owner or just a group of friends wanting to purchase the same thing in higher quantity from us, drop us a note and see how we can arrange for a deal for you.
If you would like to see some our products in person, some of them can be found and purchased at Toy Outpost Jurong Point (locker # 57B and 58B) from now onwards and Toy Outpost Vivocity (locker #27B) from 17th Jan 2011 onwards.
Anyway, enough digressing already, here's us:
We set up Shopless.com.sg with 2 thoughts in mind:
First, we do not want to purchase something that is overcharged!! Very simply, you can Google the retail price of a product online and almost always, you will find that the prices of the same product sold in Singapore is so much more expensive (which we believe is absurd). Our mission is to make sure you keep the extra money in your pocket and offer the Singapore consumers similar pricings to what the product would have cost overseas. And 1 more thing, we do not charge GST and pricing of our products are at an equivalent level (or may even be lesser!).
Second, we like beautiful and innovative things that perfect our lifestyle. As we move into contemporary age, we believe the products we carry will be perfect fits to this type of lifestyle. Hence, before choosing to carry a brand, we do a market comparison of what the brand has to offer versus what is available locally. We have managed to secure several partnerships and will announce them periodically.
Service is also of upmost importance to us and we will try our best to make sure your shopping experience an enjoyable and stress-free one.
Happy shopping and thank you for reading!
